I've been told it can hurt pretty bad for women to run without a sports bra on, unless they have teh small boobies. Hell, it hurts me sometimes if I run long enough, 'cause my nipples start to bleed. Friction, y'know, and then you have scabby nipples.

Nobody wants scabby nipples. Lube work well for stopping chaffage, incidentally.
And yes, running without a decent bra on hurts like a mofo.
